This is simply brilliant. Even in its present so-called beta state 
the plug-in is going to be very useful indeed.

Very clever, the way the "singleton" beams are handled. I wanted to 
put the broken beam at an angle, so I did this:

- Use note position tool to move the extra note a short distance in 
the direction of the broken beam.
- Use note shape tool and custom stem tool to make this note invisible.
- Use beam angle tool to give the beam the desired slant.
- Use beam extension tool to shorten the broken beam.

Could the plug-in be adapted to handle this automatically?
