If you use speedy entry, when you click on the staff that the notes were 
originally entered onto, they will appear in their original position. 
Then you simply put the cursor on the note(s) you want to change and 
drag it as you want to.  When you exit the speedy entry tool the notes 
will appear as their new pitches, still cross-staff.

If you wish to use simple entry to do this, you have to place the cursor 
where the note originally appeared, on its original staff and click and 
drag on that staff.  The cross-staff note will move up and down to the 
appropriate pitch and still will remain as a cross-staff note.
