My son Steve, who is working on something like this, says that it is entirely possible to do this, but "rude." He points out that if your printer jams or there is a power failure in the middle of a print run, the buyer is screwed. Better to just let them have it, and keep the good will that goes with a more laissez faire approach. I have to agree. At the very least, I'd like to see Steve come up with something where they can be printed for a specified time period, and maybe THEN self destruct, for just the reasons he cites.
