Linda, you are not alone! Most of my work in Finale is with lyrics; choral
and solo-songs, multiple verses, endings ect. In the beginning (version
2.06) I used  Click Assignment but for many years I have typed directly into
score. No problems in Edit Lyrics. No problems with Word Extensions except
for getting the lengths the same in multiple verses. My problems is
Baseline, but I know that somewhere there is a dialog box into which I could
type some numbers to get the baselines right, I'm just haven't yet spent the
time I should do to find it.
So, you are not the only person on Finalelist who has almost NO trouble
using Finale's lyric entry system. Could it be we are using some different
program!!!
