I would enter these as a measure-attached expression -- either text or shape, depending on what you want the bracket to look like. I was thinking that in the Coda templates there was a handy vertical bracket shape already set up (for indicating a second played together with the thumb in a piano part, for instance), but when I went looking for it recently, I didn't find it anywhere.
