The notation is shown as it is in the original and that is what adds to my confusion about the pulse. The edition is by Arthur P. Schmidt, apparently MacDowell's main publisher. Finale balks at entering the 2-tuplet as in the original so I have to correct each one of them (I will later change them to the correct duplet eighths).
