Hi list,

don't miss two important books which studies contrapunct in depth: Knud Jeppesen
Kontrapunkt (every aspect of the Palestrina-style) and Dieter de la Motte: Kontrapunkt
(gives a surveys from Perotin to Lutoslawsky), both books have a lot of exampels);
they are to acquaint from english and
german languages. For a debutante they will fill surely the gap.
