EPS will only work if you are printing to a postscript printer or to PDF. In those cases they are imo the best choice since they are scalable and print in the highest possible resolution while not taking much space. In the case that you are not printing to a PS printer TIFFs seem to be the choice. Ideally they should be exported at the exact print resolution, and in the correct size, so they don't have to be rescaled by the word processor or printer. > > Finale doesn't seem to be capable of selecting certain bars as > graphics.
