Hi all:
I have just finished a piece for jazz band of 435 bars. I have extracted all of the parts, tweaked them for page turns and other things. I have now gone back to the score and added 60 more bars. How would you suggest adding the new bars to the finished parts without having to re-extract the parts again? I am using Fin2003a on a Mac G3.
Thanks for all of your help:
Bob Florence
If the 60 measures is at the END of the tune, it might be easier. Open the score, open the parts, in the first part use the Measure tool to add 60 measures, then copy the contents of those 60 meas. from the score and paste it into the part. Repeat for all the other parts.
If you have to add them in the middle of the piece, then David Bailey's solution is better. You will probably need to copy each section as a clip file, and insert it from the clip file. I don't know how this works on PC, but on the Mac it involves holding down the Option key (this might be Alt on PC) while copying.
