As a finale(Win) user, I've never had a problem (since both versions merged on a single file format) in opening a Finale (Mac) file of any complexity. The data structures are the same.

Converting to Sibelius brings in most of the important data (rhythms and pitches) but leaves out a lot of expression and tempo data.

In other words, if a client only has Sibelius, can Sibelius (Win) be *trusted 100%* to convert a Finale (Mac) file of a large, complex orchestral score?

I use Mac Finale 2k1, 2k2, 2k3.

This is kind of funny - I wouldn't say that Finale (Win) could be *trusted 100%* to convert a Finale (Mac) file of a large, complex orchestral score?
