My two cents as a long-time Orchestra Librarian:

Concertmasters ALWAYS change bowings. Printed bowings in orchestra parts
will inevitably be scribbled out or pencilled over, making a messy, less
legible part. Except for places where you want a specific dynamic or
expressive effect, DON'T print bowings in your engraved parts.

BUT--If you have a set of parts that have been marked with decent bowings
from a professional orchestra, it will be much appreciated by both the
string principals and Librarian if you send a xeroxed copy of the bowed
principal parts along with your clean set. It will save them valuable time.
It's the Librarian's job to mark the parts, not yours, and everybody has
their own preferences about how it should be done. Also, bowings are not
copyrightable (I've had some discussions with other Librarians about this).
