I recall several comments recently, in the various threads about copy protection, about the disadvantage of the PACE system, to the effect that it is basically a worm or a virus. I see that this is used in the OS X version of MaxMSP, which makes me hesitant about recommending its purchase for our studio. I wonder if someone could take the time to fill me in on why PACE is so evil, so that I can make an informed decision.
