Fly Me to the Moon is a great song for starting a new life -- my niece and her new husband danced to it as the final dance at their reception before departing on their honeymoon.

Route 66 is another traveling song. The Long and Winding Road is another one, but is perhaps too sentimental or nostalgic for a retirement party.

Meet Me in St. Louis, San Francisco (Be Sure To Wear Flowers In Your Hair), North to Alaska.

My boss is retiring next month. He and his wife have sold their house
and bought a luxurious motor home, and they plan to travel around the
country staying here and there.

Anyway, there is a party for him next month, and I want to sing to him,
either a single song or a medley of songs, about his "new life." I need
some suggestions of songs about "travelin'". For example, there is "On
the Road Again" or "King of the Road." Can you think of any others?
I'd really appreciate the help.

Thanks,
