I had already received my latest Finale upgrade before learning about the
copy protection.

However, I *did* switch tax software this past year because of copy
protection. After having used TurboTax for years, I learned of Intuit's
copy protection scheme this year, so I switched to Tax Cut. I have no
regrets.
