I can't speak to your specific question. I have tried running older Finale versions under Classic on my G4, and they seem to work. I'm not trying to do any MIDI, and I haven't tried printing. (But I *have* printed from Classic using other programs.)
Hopefully Classic running on the newer machines will have no additional issues, but ymmv.
