Maybe someone can help me with this one.
MacFin2002b has been frequently crashing on me for several months, so I
took the computer in to be serviced. The tech reinstalled it. I also have
Finale 98d on my hard disk. I have kept that version because I have some really old
Finale files that 98d can open but 2002b cannot. After they are updated to
98d, then 2002b can read/update them.
Previously when I have opened any Finale file from the finder, it opens
in the latest version. Now it always opens in 98d, ignoring 2002b, the newer
files it tells me that it cannot open at all (because they were saved in 2002b
of course). Anybody know how to remedy this problem?
Right now, the only way I can open 2002b files at all is to drop the file
on the application, or select "Open" from the Finale File menu.
