Recordare has an xml plug-in for sibelius just like the xml plug-in for Finale, so you can get that and export your sibelius file(s) in xml format, then use the Finale xml plug-in to import into Finale.

You get a lot more data than you would using midi file transfer.

Hello--

Can Finale import Sibelius files? Sibelius isn't listed in the 2003 import
menu and I couldn't locate information on this on the website.

Thank you for the response to my query about microtonal accidentals. Is it
possible to create an invisible shape or articulation (the microtonal
accidental will insert a pitch bend message which needs to be cancelled)?
And once inserted, is there a way to find and change/delete invisible
shapes?

Is there a way of searching the archive of this list? All I could find was a
way to open it month by month.

Many thanks,

Stan
