James, While you've already gotten good advice on how to adjust the spacing of your staves, you might also think about setting the system percentage for page one at one measurement and everything from page two onwards at a slightly larger percentage - it's usually no more than 5% difference and you never have to deal with spacing issues. Just a thought.
