Hi gang,

Just wondering if there was any consensus about how to resolve collisions between tuplet brackets and slurs, especially where you have a long overslur that begins with a triplet w/bracket, *especially* when the notes of the triplet are low in the staff (or below the staff).

Are there any hard and fast rules here?

I have just one: if after applying the rules as related in the sundry authorities, the result is visually unsatisfying, or on the othe hand, in the absence of any rule, in the case of multiple possibilities, all of which convey the intention of the composer equally well, choose the one that is easiest to play. If this still leaves more than one possible choice, choose the one of those that look most visually satisfying.
