Say you have 3 systems per page and 10 pages. On page 8, you have optimized systesm 24 and 26. You now insert two new pages after page 7. Systems 24 and 26 are now completely new music, but the optimizations you did for music that is now on page ten (and systems 30 and 32) will be applied to the systems bearing the music you've just inserted.
BTW, I haven't had time to add the new pages and optimize them yet.
You might consider removing all optimizations on the pages that follow the insertion before doing the insertion, as you'll have to do that, in any case.
