I queried:
Now, does anyone have a good way to transfer a few hundred Quickeys shortcuts from system 9 to 10?
And now I answer my own question:
The Quickeys tech support on their web site states that the systems are too different to enable the import of shortcuts from OS 9 to OS 10.
I'll stop trying now and reprogram the darn things from scratch.

This is a very good reason not to adopt Finale 2K4 at all. I have the thing on my desk, uninstalled, and from what I've been reading here lately I'm becoming less enthusiastic by the minute.
