I don't know, but that's why I created 
TGTools->Miscellaneous->Analyze.

It is much more flexible and smarter in terms of both detection 
and marking of parallelisms. It should work fine with all kinds 
of polyphonic notations, i.e. chords, V1/V2, layers, and multiple 
staves. And of course it sees and follows _voices_. You can tell 
it whether to detect hidden paralellisms too, or not.

I would be happy if you tried that, and if you find room for improvement please
tell me.
