See my previous post. I.e. User Defineable Prefereces.

Supposedly, it's a bad "grammar" not to have them(in German or and French),
but, even if that's not the case, as I've already posted, it's a helpful
visual widget that "grabs the eye", thus being an extra reminder to observe
the endings, particularly in sight-reading situations.

OK. Then, if Finale made it possible to Drag Select Multiple Endings
Handles, one could Select a particular pair of Endings, and "exclude it"
from the Global Auto-Adjustment, i.e. make it a Manual Adjustment item

Give Users the choices -- Make it User Defineable Global or and Document
Preference. Better yet, one should be able to open an old file that was
created prior to Finale introducing that User Defineable Global or and
Document Preference, and apply it on that old file, without messing up
everything else.
