[Finale] help with cross-staff percussion notation (v.2003)

thanks aaron. that's a creative solution..i wish there was an easier way.

I did download TG Tools, though..and even though I don't see that it can do 
exactly what I described, it does a thousand other cool things. So, thanks 
for both tips..
