Yes, I clean that out after every crash, since I figured that might be part of the problem. New development: I tried deleting everything in the first two movements, and when you get to the same measure, Finale dies. So, it has nothing to do with the length of the file, and everything to do with something in that particular measure. Who knows! -- David W.
