Yes, it's easy to use Maestro or any other music font like any other typeface. One just has to find the right keystroke for each musical symbol. In Windows, there's character map to help.
There are also some other music fonts geared to this that are more compatible with text typefaces as far as matching sizes and "baseline" placement, such as Harmony and Shpfltnat, and many others. Sibelius comes with Opus Text which uses symbols from its Opus font set up to fit into text typesetting for this purpose. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of Ken Parsons Sent: Thursday, June 10, 2004 12:52 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [Finale] TAN: Musical Symbols in Word Is there a way to produce musical symbols (flat, especially) in Word, or to import them from Finale? A colleague of mine is working on her doctoral dissertation, and needs to do just that. Thanks!
