I currently have 4 systems on a page. They're layed
out towards the top of the page with 0 room between
the systems. I want to use Space Systems Evenly to,
well, uh, space out the 4 systems evenly across the
page.
When I do this, however, it only give me three systems
on the page, and moves the bottom system to the top of
the next page.
I can choose any option in the Space Sytems Evenly
dialog box and still get the same result.
Any suggestions?

Ryan

In Finale 2004 you can specify how many systems you want on the page, but if there just isn't enough room for four staves, you will get three. You could reduce the top and bottom page margins to buy a little more room - OR - Check the staff spacing for one of the systems. You can tighten up the space between staves or reduce the top and bottom system margin numbers. You can adjust individual staves up or down without having to optimize the systems or changing the default settings for all systems. Of course, you could reduce the page or system size, but that would be a last resort.

Good luck,

Hal
