If my piano were 50 feet away from the computer, it would be in the garden. Oh, wait... I don't have a piano. Never could get past my aphasia and press the keys down in one hand without the other hand wandering off. For about eight years I only used the computer for entering compositions (I don't sketch outside my head), but recently I've been doing more pencil & paper simply to have time away from the screen.
