I'm just in the middle of using an spare old G4 350 to try to automate a prepress workflow using applescript.
1] Distill .ps to PDF > Upload to publisher via FTP > Email publisher! ... and ... 2] Convert Finale EPS to Illustrator EPS > Stuff > encode HQX > Upload to publisher via FTP > Email publisher!
