I'm sure that if you didn't get any response it was because none of us had ever seen that before. We weren't ignoring you. Really.
I can take a stab at some ideas, though.
Using the graphic tool, drag your graphic out of the way. Drag around the space left over, and hit delete, just to make sure that there is nothing there.
Try changing the background colour of your Finale doc to see if anything shows up.
Use the selection tool to click where the lines show up, to see if anything gets selected.
Is it possible that the background colour of the graphic was not pure white? A slight off-white might get exaggerated by the PDF version.
Your idea about some artifacts left over from a previous graphic might have some value, have you contacted WinSupport?

Hi group,
Didn't get any response from an earlier post concerning a print out problem I've been having. Am reposting in hopes of some help.
Am using Fin 2003 and Win98 2nd edition. When I save as to a PDF file, the printout showslines around a graphic here and there. They look like they may be part of a box around the graphic (top and left side, not around the graphic entirely).
I had to redo a graphic now and then and am wondering if the lines are from aprevious graphic that wasn't placed exactly where the last one was.
These lines don't show on the moniter......just on the printout of the PDFfile. The printout of the Finale file is fine also.
Any help would surely be appreciated.
Thanks,
