Yes. The doc wizard has all kinds of things hardcoded (like the fact that it *only* works with files called Maestro Default Document and Jazz Default Document). It has hardcoded support for Finale GPO and the softsynth, but it is not capable of looking to see what other libraries you have.

Aaron, it's absurd that it works with GPO Finale Edition but not the full version of GPO. This penalizes users who upgrade their software. I hope Coda fixes this soon. And we're not talking about any old "other library," we're talking about GPO Full, which is supposed to be just as seamlessly integrated as GPO Finale Edition.

One would hope this would be true, especially in light of the fact that MakeMusic offers the full GPO for sale, as well as Jazz/Big Band, and even lists other NI libraries which are supposed to be compatible.

How compatible can "compatible" be when you can't use the new document wizard to make them work?

One can only assume that since the full GPO isn't recognized by the new document wizard, the Jazz/BigBand library won't be recognized either.

I do hope they open up some of these proprietary, hard-coded "features."
