The only examples I know of slashed groups of "grace notes" aren't 
really "grace notes" at all. The slash is simply the way of drawing 
the last line of the beam. A slashed 8th-note "grace note" is 
actually a way of indicating a 16th-note. So, if that's what the 
slash means, then you can eliminate it entirely and simply make the 
grace notes one subdivision smaller than they would be without the 
slash. Then you're conveying the same musical meaning without 
duplicating the exact notation.

However, this only applies to music up to 1820 or so. After that, it 
becomes quite murky during the transition to the 19th-century concept 
of the "grace note," which is what has been incorporated into Finale.
