Hi Chris,
It works (almost) the same as it did in OS 9. You can keep the
preferences in the Finale application folder or ~/Library/
Preferences, whichever you prefer. And while recent versions of
Finale have version-specific preference names (i.e., "Finale 2005
Preferences," "Finale 2006 Preferences," etc), meaning your old prefs
don't get wiped if you launch a newer version, it's still safer to
put the preferences in the appropriate application folder
("Applications/Finale 2005" and "Applications/Finale 2006") instead.

For those who are running more than one version of Finale on Mac OSX,
Do I need to put my preferences in the same directory as the
application, as I did in OS9, or can I safely share preferences
between different versions of Finale where they are presently
living? Where would I find the prefs, and what is the file called?
I am talking about 2005b and 2006.
Thanks all,
Christopher
