On Garritan's site, the newly released update is told to be compatible with
2003 and 2005 releases of Finale.
Could some kind people explain exactly how to use the JB library with F2k5
(if really possible)?

I figured things out ... to a degree.
Is there no way to set up different instruments, each with a patch of its
own, both using channel 10?
It would be nice, for example, to use the rolled snare from the marching
band percussion map (patch 2) and the bass drum from the orchestral
percussion map (patch 49) together, but I couldn't get it to work that
way.
