While that "easily" is true, it still won't prevent such actions, and if the music truly is an exact repeat, it will just lead many performers to ask why waste so much paper and introduce unnecessary page turns when repeat signs could have just as easily been used?

Face it, there's no way to guarantee that any performance will even come close to what we as composers/arrangers imagined unless we are actively involved in the performance.
