My drummer once said- "Counting in seven is easy; One, two, three, four, five, six, se-, ven".
The conductor George Hurst has a tale of an early performance of Tchaikovsky Symphony 6 in which, as was not unusual for the time, the conductor sight-read it at its first rehearsal with the orchestra. The waltz gave him severe problems, so he called an interval, after which he returned with the solution: "un, deux, trois, qua-tre, cinq".
