Ok, I'm not sure if this can be done, but here is what I tried, unsuccessfully, to do.

I have one staff in my score. And I want to create multiple parts off that ONE staff in different keys, and be able to change the range if needed as well. Can this be done with linked parts and Finale 2007?

What you want to do can be done quite easily, but not quite as you would expect:

1) Document/Manage Parts
2) Click Generate Part and you get the first part, which is merely the same as the original 1-line staff 3) Click Add Part -- you'll find in the ensuing dialog that there is a right-hand column listing all the staves (only one) in the score, and that it is highlighted. click the ADD button and the name of that single staff will also show up in the middle, previously empty panel.
4) repeat step 3 to create all the parts you want.
5) Document/Edit Part and select the part you want to edit.
6) using Staff Tool, select the entire part and then right-click and select Apply Staff Style. Select the one with the transposition you want. If you want other transpositions than the ones which come predefined, you'll need to create them and then apply them. 7) repeat step 7 for each part, applying (and defining as needed) the appropriate staff style.

Your original single staff score will remain unchanged, but any edits you make here will appear in the appropriately transposed parts you created.
