I found that adding a bar, deleting it, and restarting the program seemed to fixed whatever offended Finale with that file.

I still see "doClip: empty path" messages in the console. Does anyone else have those in their system logs?

Suddenly today when working on a particular file, I'm only able to zoom using the zoom tool once before the cursor gets stuck on the arrow allowing no more zooms. Switching out of and back to the zoom tool 'refreshes' it, for one zoom only again. The same holds true if I change the zoom from the menu and try to zoom again via the tool. This happens in all three views.

Oddly, I am able to zoom using the modifier keys at any time.

It appears to be this one offending file. When I open another doc first, the zoom tool works as it should, but as soon as this file is opened, the tool misbehaves in any file that is opened from that moment on (unless Finale is quit and restarted).

I looked in the console, and the following notice is spit out each time I use any tool in Finale (which is a lot!), and in any file:

.../Applications/Finale 2007/Finale 2007.app/Contents/MacOS/Finale 2007: doClip: empty path.

Does anyone know what that means, and if it might be related?

I tried trashing and reinstalling Fin2k7, as well as removing the prefs file, and I tested file integrity. Unfortunately, previous versions of this file bring out the same behavior.

Thanks,
Rich C
