there is really no need for the word glissando, or even the abbr. on a glissando line; musicians know what this is, if uncertain, you can perhaps write "gliss." on the 1st instance in the score in each instrument, but place it as a text element, NOT attached to the gliss. line.

really the gliss text on the line just gets in the way and is near impossible to make look nice and maintain a decent spacing of the music. to make the text look nice you will in most cases be forced to compromise other far more important musical elements.
