Hi Allen,
Can I send you a couple of files so that you can help me determine if
my problem is related to my system, or some corruption of my files,
or if it is MM's?
I'd like to send a Document Options Library (I may have to put a .mus
extension on it to attach it - not sure, but you can remove it on
receipt) and a 2007 document that has those options already loaded,
so that you can see if you get the same results loading the library
again - all kinds of changed fonts. I can put them on a server, if
you don't want to share your email address.
I am trying to communicate with Ryan at MM about this, but I don't
get a real acknowledgment that the problem exists. I could use some
help.
Thanks,
Chuck

{libraries are} NOT cross-platform (PC to Mac).
Are you sure about that? We had to make sure that they were when we
made
changes for universal binary on Mac. Are there any libraries in
particular that you find are not cross-platform?
I also just created a library in 2k6 mac and loaded into 2k7 Mac with
everything transferring. I took a 2k7 mac chord library and loaded
it in
2k7 on windows with no problems as well. One thing that I do know is
that libraries from versions previous to our move to Universal
Binary on
mac will not be cross-platform, I don't *think* we ever claimed that
they were. I maybe wrong about that (there are certain [genetic]
limits
to my brain capacity that cannot be overcome ;-))
Since there are some people I do not recognize on this thread, I
need to
flash my "Standard Disclaimer" ;-)
