I have a client who insists to align the dotted and triplet rhythm so that the last triplet 8th will be over the 16th. Is there an easy way to do this in Finale or do I have to move the notes manually.
don't quite understand what it is you want as a result, but hidden tuplets is probably the way to go. or, depending on desired result, maybe using several layers and hidden notheads (easiest if flat beams in all layers)
