Try this: in Document Options/Multimeasure Rests - turn off auto update.

The way it is screwed is consistent, tho. I have all the 2 bar repeat
measures set to 156 EVPUs. When I come back to the part, quite few of

Yes, I have Automatic Music Spacing engaged, but I am not doing
anything
to invoke it. And why not all of them changed if it is related to
Automatic Music Spacing, is a very puzzling thing.
I am convinced this file is sour. In Digital Performer, when you
think
the file is sour, you can create a new project and load the problem
file
into it to clean things up. What do you do when you feel your Finale
file gone sour?
