I see, but the problem is to recognize which sound should be assigned to every track, being no names assigned to tracks themselves :(. Thanks anyway

The file itself plays correctly on Windows Media Player but when I import it (I checked options about importing the sounds patches from original file), the sounds are completely messed up. Percussion plays with violins sounds, the voice track that was a flute patch plays also like a violin, the bass (was a synth bass) has a cello voice. > > How could I check which sounds are loaded by Finale (better, how sounds patches are stored in the MIDI file) to assign right timbres? > > Many thanks for help > > > > Just go to Instrument List and reassign the sounds you want to go with > each staff. > > -- > David H.
