well, if it helps at all, it isn't limited to a particular font, earlier it was my default text block font, and now it just happened again with engraverfontset as i was placing system separators.
F2007c, i added a new text, page-attached, and moved it a little on the page, did nothing else. a little while later i notice that the exact same text appears as the group name on the single staff of an optimized system 4 pages later
