I thought the whole point is that if you change something in the score -- especially something as major as deleting or adding measures (which happens a lot in choreography cues) -- the parts are automatically updated to include the changes. If you have to create a separate "parts" document, then you'll have to make the changes in multiple documents, making the linked parts feature much less useful. In large orchestral scores, I typically have large boxed measure numbers only displayed between the woodwinds and the brass and between the percussion and the strings. What I would need is the ability to create a large-font boxed measure number region that only displays below certain staves of the score, and another small-font region for parts that would display on the bottom staff of every part. Maybe this could be done by enabling measure number regions to use staff lists.
