Another "List Success". Darcy's Staff Style thing is EXACTLY what I
needed, since actually the Vibes part is a cue and the only thing the
Vibes plays in the repeated section is the downbeat at the beginning
of the repeats, then is tacet through the repeats until the next cue
begins.
Thanks!

Hi Neal,
What I would normally do in this situation is leave the repeat on
the vibraphone staff but mark the cue "Last time only."
It is also possible to get what you want by creating a Staff Style
where Items to Display -> Repeats is UNchecked, then apply it to the
vibraphone staff only. But I don't actually recommend that. The
vibraphone *is* repeating -- i.e., the vibraphonist is not going on
while the the other musicians are repeating. It's just repeating a
passage where it doesn't play until the final repetition, hence:
"Last time only."

Hi...
This is purely a layout/looks issue, not a playback issue. I'm
creating an insert to repair a mistake in the string parts to Steve
Reich's "Music for 18 Musicians". In one specific passage there's
a 4-bar repeated pattern which I'll enclosing in forward- and
backward-repeat signs. Over that I will be putting the Vibraphone
cue that marks the final repeat. The Vibe cue isn't really
repeated, so to match what they see in the rest of the part, the
ideal thing would be to have the repeats in the Violin and Cello
staves but not the Vibe staff. Is there a way to get that -- in
effect, make the barlines an "independent element"?
