Obviously we can argue this point -- I find that working with Fin2008 is much worse than working with any of the previous versions because of how they have taken what used to be consolidated in one menu (and had been there for years!) and moved it all around into other menus I don't find nearly as intuitive. They drastically changed the way the program works and for me it has made it much worse. Just like that poor dog probably feels.

But for others, it has made a large improvement in the way the program works, witness your message. Just like people feel a neutered dog has been fixed because they no longer have to worry about puppies.

It's all in one's point of view and from my point of view it's worse.
