Even *I* didn't find Eric's remark sarcastic or inappropriate. On the other hand, sometimes one does look in the manual, but for whatever reason, ends up looking in the wrong place, and doesn't find the answer. In that case, it would be helpful to say "I looked in the manual under ... but couldn't find anything." At least then we know you're *trying*, as opposed to just being lazy. -- David W.
