BTW, instead of dealing with the less than great aspects of Sibelius, the real work for MM is to go deep into the guts of Finale that are still there from Finale 1.00. I suspect that the really bad stuff we're seeing now are the fruits of some of the clunky remnants of a Finale long ago.
I wonder if any programmers who worked on version 1.0 are still around, kicking themselves now that the bugs which have remained are biting everybody big-time, saying "I knew we should have fixed that damn thing 20 years ago!"
Or like the CEOs of the banks and investment houses who were smart enough to "retire" with their golden parachutes just before the crash, the Finale programmers of old are saying "Thank god I was smart enough to get out before I had to actually fix those bugs we never could figure out!"
