So you're saying the 32nd beam stub on the G is facing the wrong
direction?
Would that also mean that you would expect to see a 16th beam stub as
well (facing backwards)?

Yes, that 32nd beamlet is pointing the wrong direction. Finale is
HORRIBLE at this kind of thing. Try checking the option in
Beams>Extend Secondary Beams over Rests. This improves the beamlet's
direction, but it is too long now, and forces the sixteenth double
beams over the whole beat. I like the double beam this way, (but not
the long 32nd beam) but maybe you don't...
The other option is to change the beamlet's direction manually with
the Special Tool. It is stupid that you have to do this in this
situation, as Finale should do this properly by default.
